I graduated from Westlake High School in Austin, TX in 1993.  

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in English and obtained my teaching certificate through work with Southwest Texas State University.

17 years of teaching and coaching experience at both the middle and high school levels.  I joined Blanco ISD in 2014 and am currently teaching World Geography and Professional Communication at Blanco HS.

Prior to joining Blanco ISD, I spent four years teaching and coaching at St. Paul HS in Shiner, TX, one year at Bastrop HS, eight years at Bennett HS in Bennett, CO and one year at Canyon Middle School in New Braunfels, TX.

I am married my wonderful wife Jane in June of 1999.  We have two amazing children, Kelly (12) and Justin (9).  Jane also teaches and coaches in Blanco and the kids both attend Blanco ISD schools.  We have several family pets, a cat (Black Tiger), a dog (Major), a fish (Sharkey), and a rabbitt (Professor Nibbles).
