Athletic News

The BMS Volleyball teams played Monday night with Both 8th grade teams coming away with wins against Brady.

Unfortunately, a thunderstorm caused a cancellation for the football games on Thursday night. 7th grade did get to play about 4 minutes of the first quarter and they came away with an 8-0 victory. With Eli Longoria scoring the first touchdown on the new  turf field.

Good things in the Classroom

Students in Mr. Baker’s art class “raise the roof” by competing in the Twin Sisters Dance Hall art contest. This supports the historic dance hall’s raise the roof event for the historic landmark.

Student’s in Coach Stavlo’s 6th grade math class prepare for a review over fractions.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

Blanco ISD fans and guests will have a new and more convenient way to buy athletic tickets to events during the 2023–2024 school year thanks to a new partnership with HomeTown Ticketing. The transition to digital ticketing will result in a reliable and simple experience that will allow fans and school staff to more easily and effectively manage all athletic events that require tickets for entry. Tickets for all Blanco ISD athletic events can be purchased through the District’s website or by downloading the HomeTown Fan App. Please see the QR codes in preparation for purchasing your tickets. The HomeTown Fan App will allow you to manage your entire ticketing experience on most iOS or Android mobile devices. The App allows you to purchase and store tickets on your smartphone or other mobile device. Simply search for events by school name, zip code, or event. You can also “favorite” schools to quickly find upcoming events, purchase tickets, and present your digital tickets to be scanned on your way into the event. All athletic events will require tickets to be purchased in advance. Tickets will be available approximately 3-5 days prior to the event. We will not be accepting cash purchases at the gate. In the event that tickets are not purchased, individuals will be asked to download the app or go to the District website to purchase tickets prior to your entrance into the event. For anyone that needs additional assistance please contact the District Office @ 830-833-4414, we will work with you to ensure your event experience is not interrupted. The District will be expanding online purchasing opportunities for parents and the community later this fall and winter. Please be on the lookout for those future opportunities! We are looking forward to seeing you this year and “GO PANTHERS!!
