Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE 3/20/2020

I hope you have been able to enjoy your Spring Break!  I want to provide you with information as we get ready to navigate our way through the next few weeks.  As you know, Blanco ISD schools are closed through at least April 3.  All UIL activities are postponed until May 4.  

Next week (March 23 - 27) will mostly be a planning week for BISD as we make decisions about providing instruction to our students.  You will hear from your school/teacher at some point to provide guidance, instructions and possible activities while we plan.  We will be contacting you to determine the best way to serve your needs during this time. 

The BISD Food and Nutrition Department will begin providing "grab and go" meals on Tuesday, March 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Blanco Elementary School, 814 Eleventh St.  You will remain in your car and someone will bring breakfast and lunch to you.  It is that easy! 

Please have patience with us as we work out the details of our plan.  We will communicate with you as much as possible.  We will have very few staff in our offices during this time so we may be hard to reach by phone.  As the week progresses, we will reach out to you with more information and how to contact someone.
